There are a total of 69 different shells in Another Crab’s Treasure. If you want to collect all the shells, you’ll basically have to play through the entire game to collect them.
If you still don’t know where to find all 69 shells, I’ve included a map below of each location where you can find that particular shell. Many of these shells, like soda cans, have multiple locations, so you may find them in other places as well. Other shells may be dropped by specific bosses, or may need to be purchased from the shell shop in town.
This is your shell and the essence of this adventure. At the beginning of the game it belongs to you, and then you lose it to the loan shark. After completing the game you will be able to get your “Home” shell back.
In Another Crab’s Treasure, soda cans are scattered all over the place, but the first places to find them are in Nephro Arena, around the area, and in vending machines.
At the top of Slacktide Castle, there is a bottle cap hanging on one of the cardboard balconies you will need to cross. This is another light projectile with lower defense.
Near Slacktide Castle, you can find a Tin Can Shell on a rusty aqueduct. It has much higher defense than anything you’ve seen in the game, and it only weighs a little, making it a great replacement for any item you use early in the game.
Upon entering the Moon Cave, you’ll find the first Goblet Shell near the first shortcut. There’ll be a crab waving a cotton swab nearby. There are a few more wine glasses in the area.
Banana Peel spawns in the sand west of the Nephro fight. This projectile is lighter than the others and provides less defense. Munch Umami’s power is very useful in this area.
This shell is found on a rock with a comb crab in the Moon Cave. This is the first shell I found that has a reward; the party hat gives you extra MSG, which is represented by a small wave icon in its stats.
Coconuts can be found in the courtyard of Fort Slacktide where the two Lobster Knights are located; coconuts can only be found after obtaining the pearl.
The first shell I found was in the Dusis Magistra arena where you fight her after returning with the pearl. There are several lying around the floor around the combat area.
I first found this thing on my way to the big city. It’s located next to a moon snail shell on Reef’s Edge, which is the game’s version of a bonfire or save point.
This one is on the way to Big City, and can be found after killing the crab at the end of the reef. It can be found in other places, but this is the first one I found.
This classic paper cup design drops from the Sands Between, Pagurus, and The Ravenous bosses. It will remain in that location, hunting down and eliminating any intruders.
At the top of the ramp with the sign in Reef End, an NPC will discuss speed with you and you will see a tennis ball. The tennis ball can be used to go down the ramp, so you won’t miss it.
There seems to be only one of these in the entire game. It can be found on one of the Clam Wish signs in New Cassinia. Look at the sign and use the grappling hook to pull it down.
The Mason Jar Shell has the same umami power as the Wine Glass: whenever you block with it, it creates spikes around you. You can find one on a tall pole that you need to grab onto to get to the Expired Knoll Loon Snail Shell.
The Salt Shaker has the same umami-destroying power as the Wine Glass and Glass Jar. It can be found near the Marsh Moon Snail Shell on the upper level of the Drift Valley.
Conchiglie is sold in New Casinha, you can buy it for 750 microplastics. Just go to Shellfish Desires and pick one up for yourself.
Coming in at number 18 out of 69 shells is Bartholomew, a guy who looks like a giant yellow duck but wears a pirate hat. He costs 3,500 microplastics to obtain and can be purchased at Shellfish Desires in New Casinha.
There is a crab carnival going on, and if you talk to the local NPC, he will tell you that the music never stops. Swim to the platform where all the crabs are dancing and kill them. One of the crabs will have a disco ball on its head.
Baby Shoe is an Another Chance shell that can only be found at Shellfish Desires in New Carcinia. It’s not cheap: This one costs 15,000 microplastics.
Lil’ Bro is another shell that can only be purchased. You’ll need to go to New Carcinia and pick this shell up in person at Shellfish Desires.
Russian nesting doll shells come in three sizes: large, medium, and small. The medium and small Russian nesting doll shells are contained within the larger doll shell, which must be purchased from Novaya Kassia along with the microplastics. It costs a whopping $25,000, but you can buy three nesting dolls at a time.
The medium nesting doll is inside the big nesting doll; to get the small nesting doll, you need to use the umami power of the big nesting doll. Each time you use Bait Umami Power, your nesting doll will become a little smaller, which means that the next nesting doll will be found in the same way.
The small nesting doll is located inside the medium nesting doll, and the medium nesting doll is located inside the large nesting doll. To get the smallest nesting doll shell, you need to first use the umami lure power of the large nesting doll shell, and then use the lure power of the medium nesting doll shell.
The shuttlecock is a spinning top shell that also needs to be purchased. If you go to Shellfish Desires in New Cassinia, you can buy this shell for just 2,000 microplastics.
Felix Cube is not a Rubric Cube brand at all and is only available in stores in the major city of New Carcinia. It is a L-weight shell that can hold 12,500 microplastic particles.
To get a three-star Piggy Bank Shell to add to your collection, you’ll need to collect 7,777 Microplastics to pay for the purchase. It’ll be located at Shellfish Desires in New Cassinia.
It’s party time in Trophy Shells! Shells need to be purchased in major cities. While walking along CND Receipt Road, you can buy Trophy shells for 17,500 microplastics at Shellfish Desires.
The Imposter shell is based on the Smokescreen shell from Among Us. This beautiful killer fish can be found in New Carcinia, in the Shellfish Desires shop. To get it, you will need to spend 9600 microplastics.
This bowl-like item can be found on the ground in the Sands Between. This is the first time I’ve found a shell like this.
They’re all over Expired Grove, but this is where you’ll always find ice cream cones. This ice cream shell can be found by heading east from the fast travel point below.
This yogurt cup-shaped shell can be found in the Sands Between, but be careful of the bosses that roam the area when searching for it; Pagurus, the Ravenous, will attack from almost anywhere in the area.
In the same place where the Waffle Cone body is, you’ll also find a Coffee Capsule body. It’s located in Expired Grove; I found one near the boss arena in that area.
If you fast travel to the Expired Noll Moon Snail Shell in the Sands, you can find some Egg Shells in the area. Trade your current shell for the Egg Shell to count towards the Completed Shell achievement.
The Coffee Cup Shell can be found near the giant pipe west of the Moon Snail Shell in the Overdue Grove. You’ll find it after defeating the large crab enemy with the hammer.
The Cascadian Coil Shell can be found north of the Moon Snail Shell in the Grove of Elapsed Rivers. While some are found on the ground, the easiest place to find them is in the Sushi Ship Boss Arena to the north.
I found the Ham Tin shells in the clams. It is located in the side chamber of the cave behind the moon snail shell at the entrance to the village. You will need a grappling hook to reach this location.
At the top of the hill in Curled Village, you can find a Crab Sniper enemy that will drop a Skeleton Shell when killed. It is located just behind the Sushi Boss Arena, west of the Moon Snail Shell in the area.
Before the boss arena in the Curdled Village area, you can find a crab shell. Go north, then east from the previous shell location to find this very scary shell and equip it.
In this area, you can encounter some crabs that use drills as weapons. They will leave you with some very un-LEGO bricks that you can pick up.
Near the dumpster on the western edge of Sands Between, east of the Bobbitt Rocks where you can get the Bobbitt Trap Mods, there will be some Spring Shells lying on the ground. Keep an eye out for the X’s on the ground, as there are Bobbitt enemies hiding behind them that can grab you.
While shotgun shells can be found in many places, I found one by killing a shrimp in this area of Flotsam Vale.
Among the sea of toxic mud that flows through Flotsam Vale, there are a few islands of solid ground. It is here that you can find real brick casings and boxing glove casings.
I found the Cardboard Box hideout outside of the boss area in Flotsam Vale; it’s on a platform above the area behind the propane tanks.
On a small island north of the boss arena, there is an island in the middle of a poisonous lake. Inside is a hermit crab that you need to kill to get this Cleansing Shell.
West of the Sands Between is a hermit crab with a shell like this; you need to kill it and all of its followers. This group of enemies only appears after the boss of the Sands Between is killed.
The dump truck body can be found on a scrap heap at the top of a tower in Scuttleport. You need to ride a magnet to get there.
