While V4236 is a MEK (methyl ethyl ketone) based black ink that can be used in the Videojet 1580, 1860 and 1880 CIJ printers, the new Videojet 1280 CIJ printer allows low volume manufacturers to code at lower speeds. Designed for coding in the electronics market, this high performance, halogen-free ink is resistant to immersion, abrasion and solvent splashes including Mil-Spec C solvents, isopropyl alcohol (IPA) and ethanol. Unlike similar E-Inks, V4235 does not require an air dryer kit to use.
This ink is ideal for printing on electronic components such as connectors, heat sinks and capacitors, which can be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol after coding. It has excellent adhesion to other materials, including acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), aluminum, polystyrene, polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polycarbonate, polyester, steel and nylon.
High Adhesion V4230 is a black MEK ink specifically designed for printing on rigid HDPE containers such as cleaning spray bottles, detergent bottles, shampoo/conditioner bottles and motor oil bottles. Its unique properties help printed codes and text resist wear caused by friction against kraft paper, corrugated paper, cardboard and chipboard on HDPE containers during packaging and shipping.
In addition to high-density polyethylene (HDPE), the ink also exhibits excellent adhesion and abrasion resistance on low-density polyethylene (LDPE), polyethylene (PE), ABS, aluminum, polystyrene, polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polycarbonate, polyester, nylon and steel. It is also resistant to acids, alkalis, white spirit and oils.
